Temperature
Temperature needs for pink cymbidium orchids varies from cool to medium, but they opt moderate light. A temperature of among 10 and 30 degrees Celsius (that is 50 to 85 °F) is perfect. One should however take care not to emphasis the Cymbidium orchids by exposing it to temperatures on the far side this range. However, in the latter part of summer it may be wise to have the temperature drop at night to force out Cymbidium orchids into bloom. This temperature drop is needed to maximize blossoming else the buds will turn yellow and drop down if it is too hot at night in summer. Maintain the orchids cool till the flowers have opened.
Light
Pink Cymbidium orchids bear most light levels well. This may be in the form of good morning sun or bright, “clouded” afternoon shade. If the individual have the Cymbidium orchid indoors the individual require taking care that it is not placed in a place that captivates direct light, but instead place it in a place where they will get adequate shade so as to save the leaves from being blackened. Cymbidium orchids are phototropic and good light will make sure that the stems build up strong and hard which will further pay back the individual with much flower heads that the orchid plant will be able to carry. A lanky long stem will not be able to bear the heavy Cymbidium orchid flower heads.
Moisture and humidity
Pink Cymbidium orchids need often watering. The individual should thus water it exhaustively; maintain the soil equally moist to touch (not saturated or soggy wet). The individual certainly do not want to sit with Cymbidium orchids that are brought down with root rot. Never admit water to collect round the bulbs, and never admit the plants to stand in water.
Humidity will forbid crinkled leaves. Air movement around silk Cymbidium orchids is also a need that should not be dominated. The bigger the region around the plants, the more air movement (not draught) there will be and the sooner the Cymbidium orchid plant will dry out.
